What colours can I use to paint Valdemar miniatures?

Yesterday I finally got my first sets of Valdemar miniatures through the post office.
I never painted tin figures before, just plastic.
I use acrylic paints: Vallejo, Testors and Humbrol.
Can I use these brands on tin figures, or it must be oil paints?

Hi,

Well I use the same paint for both plastic and metal/tin figures... only important to give a quick wash is warm water with a little soap, then dry, base with a good primer and paint :)
