All made from cheap materials and the accessories that came with the Italeri Toutnament and Challange sets. I used a tutorial and template made by our very own paul to make the paper tents

I like the idea of there being a lady mounting the horse. The man handling it seems to be smiling as if he is meeting an old friend perhaps one of the daughters of the lord he works for who he has built a bond of friendship with as he watched her grow up

I really want to know how this is done. it looks so detailed. Do you make them yourself then "Mass Produce" I don't know if that is an overstatement. I imagine Green Line industries as a small company set up in a barn in rural germany but for all I know it could be a really depressing concrete comunist industrial complex set up in the eastern half of germany

But there seems to be alot of skill in what goes on. But from what I see online most of the structures are made from laser cut wood and paper. I don't know how you can laser cut paper without setting it on fire but that is besides the point. My point is: is there a way for me poor boy in small rural town New Zealand to in some way make something that resembles this

  • Medeival TournamentDateThu Jan 05, 2012 9:21 am

OK you can see this on Benno's forum and my blog so I'm sorry if you are just so board of seeing the same old pics again and again and again.

Now if you have been following this project on my blog or benno's you will see how far I've come but. Here is what I've done today and onwards.

    The Whole Tournament grounds

Here is the Stands for the rich patrons and the ladies in waiting. I have used the decals included in the Italeri Challenge sets for the shields and banners (Shown in other picture) and I feel it came out great.

The heraldry on the banners looks nice I think but it differes from the heraldry on the shields. Is this accurate?

The tournament will go on for a while and the Riff-Raff has been anticipating the tournaments start so much they decided to camp out

Some ruins these won't make much sence unless you know how the stands in the Challange set include a ruin. These stones represent the rest of a ruined structure

The back of the stands mentioned above. I am making a bit of a bush there

    The exit lined with bushes

I hope you like it this is my first real attempt at a dio and although it will not be a true dio because I will not glue stickers on it. happy New Year to All
