Hi All, Reins to replace the plastic reins at 1:72. The reins are made of sturdy, tear-resistant laser cut paper, and were made at the request of customers.
Hello, after the walls and the roof were molded and poured, the house with the first sample castings was assembled. A first thin layer of paint. The entrance to the house is located on the first floor and was only accessible by a ladder.
Hello, we start with a new building a Tower houses in 1:72 appeared in Britain and Ireland starting from the High Middle Ages. Such buildings were constructed in the wilder parts of Britain and Ireland, particularly in Scotland, and throughout Ireland, until at least up to the 17th century. The remains of such structures are dotted around the Irish and Scottish countryside, with a particular concentration in the Scottish Borders where they include peel towers and bastle houses. Some are still intact and even inhabited today, while others stand as ruined shells.
As a template for our tower house were the plans of the Osprey book Strongholds of the Border Reivers page 45-49. And quite a few pictures from our last visit to Scotland last year.
The parts for the tower were all made on the laser. The first wall is molded and cast for the first time.

Hello, to the motte was also a small chapel, was used as a template to these small wooden chapel. This chapel was reconstructed and what is admirable of children and youth, under the guidance of professionals, rebuilt. The measurements were taken from the "Soest journal" Bulletin 107 Soest 1995. In the article on the motte "Hinderking", which was close to Soest, a chapel is mentioned. It is now believed that this was the a wooden chapel. The bell was located outside of the chapel, in the form of a peasant bell.
First, in the drawing program the drawings were created for the master of the walls, and then printed on a laser. Currently from master make the moulds, so I at the weekend when everything comes together, the small chapel can assemble.
Hello, the creation of palisades in 1:72 with the laser employed me for a long time. Only I was not yet able to create the right texture for it. Now I think I succeeded to create a suitable texture for Palisades. In the photo program I created a texture that converts the laser also correct. It was important the roundings so in grayscale get the same even after the wood engraving look around. For this purpose, many attempts have been driven on the laser to the right shades of gray were found. Now the texture could be transferred to Gorel draw and will start the actual drawing for the laser. The state of things is what is seen in the picture. The drawing is now complete, and I think today is the first copy ready to come out of the laser. Two walls are lasered, and adhered to each other, wherein the second sealing wall is inverted to the first wall. Looks like the result then follows it here in the forum.
