Painting the spearmen

Hi,

Work has begun painting the spearmen and my idea is to do one big diorama with the complete set represented. The first images are not completed figures, but should give an idea. Colors will be primary white and red, but a single black figure and one brown will be breaking the uniformed line.

Medieval infantry with spear

A few pictures of the proces, did initially plan to make the figures on two old credit cards, but decided to put all on one in order to make the effect of a tight group of men, ready to fight.

Well here is a short update, I did finish the ground work and started placing the first figures. Before this based in Mich' comments I did work a little on the red surfaces and used a mix of flat red and light grey to highlight... and it worked well I think

infantry with horse pikes
Braveheart miniatures
Medieval Danish infantry
