Thx. It's just a black undercoat and then the metal is rubbed over with a dull blade.

Hi Cole,

Love your work and look forward to seeing the scene progress. Would you be able to make a better photo of the cloacked knight with the shields (white and red cross). I think this looks very interesting and the ground work on this figure looks superb!

Hehe, that gray stuff is dust! That base has been sitting around on my desk for quite a while.
