Thank you for the pictures. I always thought that the tempeliers had white clothing (seen the black/white colors on flags before). The lower ranks dressed in black or brown?

Yes, that´s new for me, too! I only knew that the teutonic knights were dressed white while their sergeants were dressed in grey with a "T" instead of a real cross on teir shields/cloaks. So the pictures were VERY HELPFUL!
