while I wait for the material to continue the scene of "The day of the tournament," I am preparing the sections of the castle with recycled material. In practice the polystyrene trays that can be found in all markets. Here are some photos and a short "how to". after cutting the sections in the desired size, begin to sculpt the individual pieces simulating irregular stones.. So I make the stones more realistic "scratching" with the wire brush.. Good sunday to all

Looks really good. I admire your patience with drawing the stonework..I know how long it can take
I recently saw the stonework being made with a small electric heated screwdriver. It gets hot at the tip and only marks 1mm into the styrofoam
Here´s a link to the tool (I will definately get one, it looks very good)

and this is what was made with it;

The one you have...how much was it? The one I linked to is in dollars and although I have looked I can´t find the same in Euros.

I know what you mean with doing it manually..it seems more of an achievement, but only for small pieces..I did this lot by hand and nearly went crazy (sorry, the pictures won´t transfer (?) )

Wenn Sie hier auf Links zu eBay klicken und einen Kauf tätigen, kann dies dazu führen, dass diese Website eine Provision erhält.

I purchased the station to pay about 20 euros, more or less on ebay. Of course, the craftsmanship gives the piece a truly authentic and unique and makes us both in YOUR diorama YOUR personal touch.
