The knights resting are originally 3D sculptured models which has been modified afterwards with greenstuff.

Interesting...why? have you got an example of the original alongside the modified one?

Well actually not, but what I did was adjust the thickness of the arms and also add new helmets as these did look to small. Also the shields and weapons are from greenstuff.
