Would a set like this be interesting? And what should be included?

Best regards

Sure ... for a good "civilian" (not military) medieval diorama we need a lot of peasants.
What should it include:

- men working hard on the grain fields with hands/tools/donkeys
- women with little children/babies
- a young boy care for the pigs
- little girl with a baby goat
- collecting wood for the fire and the houses
- women washing the clothes
- women milking the cows / feeding the chickens

....a good idea this set!
Paul had given a lot of ideas!
more children, perhaps?
they were very active in the peasant's life!
and women cooking...
and... oups! sorry Jens, you said "stop"!

peasant Children ? Difficult subject to find in contemporary images apart from at play

apprentice at work

children

but basically they would have done vitually everything the adults did, (they also had time to play though) workwise, as soon as they were able to do so...except the rich ones who were affected by different influences..being used as pawns in marriage etc. Even well off children were sent to be apprentices of some sort.
For us a child is up until about 14yrs old..rich kids could well be married off at 11/12 yrs old !

Here´s lots of interesting reading about them;
