can i suggest an idea? A corner of the camp dedicated to the care of the wounded. I really like the idea, I do not know if there's already something.

hmmm whats the realname?

horsemans pike?

here was a short version for knights...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horseman%27s_pick

btw. did you know that most of the knights fought with their sword lets say upside down? If they have it in their hands, the sword points to the ground not to the sky. This was because if you want to hit someone you raise your arm and then you are vunerable. If you fight the sword upside down, your side is protectet by the sword and the sword is at the right high for the infantery. BUT this only workd with knight/infantery, not knight vs. knight, there they used it the normal way....

I was very suprised to hear that but it really makes sense if you try it at the reenactment. Btw, the same way they used riding axes or the horesemans pick against the infantery.

edit: found an english name: Raven's Beak
