I let you an advice on Benno's about this dio and your choice of 5 figures...
It's a very good idea and the "making-off" is very nice!
I think that the final result will be a really good realisation!

Thank you my friends. I paint the metal with toned down silver printer ink, then shade with black oils and highlight with pure silver printer's ink. I don't like acrylic or enemel metals a I find that their pigment are to large for this scale.

A very nice scene - wonderful. The painting I find awesome. an the fire might think, it really burns!

Very nice!

Let's see already how the whole thing will look like in the end?

Is the oven built themselves, or bought?

Thanks! I'm glad you like the painting. The furnace (oven) is part of Valdemar's excellent Smithy set, but the wall and tools are scratch built out of magic sculpt and wire.

Thank you for your comment. Yes printer's ink dries fast when thinned with white spirit. I like it because it has such a fine pigment.

The armourer's wife and the anvil. Pardon my photography please:-( I need to "dirty up" the dress with some black pigment later on.
